Arrival via public transport:

Air:  Southampton (approx 40 minutes), Heathrow (approx 90 minutes), Gatwick (approx 2hrs)

Rail: Salisbury (approx 30 minutes), Bournemouth (approx 30 minutes), Poole (approx 30 minutes)

There is parking for up to 8 vehicles on a gravel drive and we have secure barns for any equipment (e.g. bikes, fishing tackle, excess luggage storage etc).  The house is accessed at ground level where there is a guest lounge, cloakroom and breakfast room.

All bedrooms are on the first and second floor and so would not suit those with limited mobility or needing assistance - we are on site for arrivals but cannot guarantee to be on site outside of these times.

Stairs and bedrooms are carpeted, the breakfast room, lounge and corridors have wooden floors.

There are 2 Superior Guest Bedrooms which have Super Kingsize beds (which can be split to twin) and full en-suite bathrooms (i.e. bath, walk-in shower, toilet and vanity sink). There are 3 Standard Rooms which have Kingsize Beds (2 of which can be split into twins) and en-suite bathrooms with walk-in showers, toilet and vanity sink. All but 1 of the rooms have space to take a travel cot or a put up bed (not recommended for over the age of 12)

All duvets, pillows and bed linen are hypoallergenic and we use Lush toiletry products that are locally sourced, not tested on animals and are largely vegan.

Dogs are not permitted at Home Farm House; however, service animals are welcome - all we ask is that you bring your own dog bed, and that you guarantee that your four legged friend doesn't get onto the bed or other furniture.

Dietary Requirementswe have a varied breakfast menu (an example can be seen on our website), and we bake our own bread, cakes and cookies - we can offer gluten and dairy free options with advance warning and welcome new recipes and alternatives.  All our produce is locally sourced and breakfast is cooked from fresh daily.

We care about our carbon footprint and so when we renovated we only used local suppliers and builders.  All the furniture has been sourced from local vintage emporiums and up-cycled.  All paint and wallpaper was supplied by local Farrow & Ball, bed linen and towels from a supplier less than 10 miles away.  Ingredients for our breakfasts are fresh, with eggs from the village, jams and honey from the next village and meats from a local butcher 4 miles away all of which we either cycle to collect or walk.  We are connected to biomass so that guests enjoy heat and hot water on demand without 'costing the earth' and we politely ask that our guests help us by turning off lights in rooms when not in use.  We recycle all rubbish and compost left over food stuff.  We do our own laundry and dry line wherever possible, during bad weather we use the drying room where we have sheila maids.
