Home Farm House is situated on the Shaftesbury Estate in Wimbotne St Giles and is a 3 storey Grade ll listed building; there are village pubs a short car distance and for everyday needs there is a general store in the next village which is just 2 miles. Once you arrive, you can simply relax taking in the picturesque surroundings, or there are plenty of activities and attractions in the vicinity.
Home Farm House has been lovingly renovated staying sympathetic to the age and style of the building. Furniture has been sourced from local antique emporiums, upcycled and been given a new lease of life. We have used the heritage palette from Farrow & Ball and the only items that have been bought brand new (which I am sure you will be pleased to hear…) are the beds and the linen.
In order to reduce our carbon footprint we are endeavouring to use local suppliers for food stuffs, composting and recycling wherever possible – even the toilet roll is recycled (I know, that never sounds right does it!!) and using ‘fairtrade’ items. We will be happy to discuss your journey here and any transfers you may need from train/bus stations.
Now we don't like to blow our own trumpet, but.... We have stayed in many B&B’s over the years – some great, some not so! We have tried to create an environment where you feel both at home but also a little pampered and special. Wimborne St Giles is a very special village and we look forward to welcoming you to Home Farm House very soon.
