1 Mile Circular Walks

Starting from Home Farm House (HfH)

 

Across the Playing Field

  • Turn left out of HfH, walk the few yards down the gravel drive and follow pathway through woods to the church.

  • Walk past church on right to the end of the driveway and turn right for 15 yards, turn left through gate to walk across the playing field.

  • Keep the playground on your left and look for the sign, go through the gate/over the stile.

  • Follow the driveway around to the right and keep walking, after 150m cross a  small lane which opens up to a small green. Keep the houses on your right. Walk through a narrow pathway to the road.

  • Bear right. Walk to the end of the road (approx. 200m), turn left, down the hill for approx. 200m, over the bridge (all sorts of water fowl and kingfishers can be seen from the bridge) to the end of the road, turn left.

  • Walk along the road for approx. 500m, keeping houses on your right. Keep walking past the Bull to the end of the road and turn left.

  • Cross over the river again, and past the stocks on your right. Walk along the road back to the church, and back through the woods to HfH for a cup of tea and a piece of cake.

 

 

On The Road

  • Turn left out of HfH, walk the few yards down the gravel drive and follow pathway through woods to the church.

  • Walk past church on right to the end of the driveway and turn left, turn right after 50m, walking past the Old Post Office, the telephone box and The Village Hall.

  • Walk along the road to the end – approx. 600m

  • Turn left, down the hill for approx. 200m, over the bridge (all sorts of water fowl and kingfishers can be seen from the bridge) to the end of the road, turn left.

  • Walk along the road approx. 500m, keeping houses on your right. Keep walking past the Bull to the end of the road and turn left.

  • Cross over the river again, and past the stocks on your right. Walk along the road back to the church, and back through the woods to HfH for a cup of tea and a piece of cake.
